Responsibilities:
- Liaising with growers and potential growers
- Assisting in business development
- Advising growers on export-quality requirements
- Conducting paddock inspections throughout the year
- Generating and promoting contracts with reliable farmers
- Collecting and preparing samples for testing, ensuring retained samples are stored and labelled correctly at the office
- Maintaining accurate records of tested and contracted hay
- Grading oaten hay and inspecting hay upon delivery
- Willingness to travel (employer-supplied vehicle)
- Strong understanding of OH&S regulations
- Proven experience in agronomy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
