We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join a government department in Eagle Farm. Contribute to the maintenance of light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicle fleet, key responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles including trucks, buses, and commercial vehicles.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards and within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently address technical challenges.
- Always adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Experience or qualifications as a mechanic (heavy or light vehicle)
- Proficiency in general cab chassis maintenance
- Skills in small engine maintenance, including generators and pumps
- MR License (desirable)
