Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Management:
- Plan, create and oversee the weekly maintenance schedule with preventative maintenance routines (PMR), corrective work, and improvements
- Procure parts, materials, and services as needed
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget and shutdown plans
- Execute site shutdowns and conduct root cause analysis of breakdowns
- Oversee AutoCAD drawing mark-ups and manage modifications with third-party draftsmen
- Monitor and manage mobile equipment performance and repairs via third-party providers
- Leadership:
- Lead and supervise tradespersons in fault finding and maintenance activities
- Manage contractors and improvement projects
- Provide on-floor assistance during breakdowns
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct HSEQ activities
- Generate capital justifications for maintenance and equipment improvements
- Mechanical trades background or a mechanical engineering degree with proven supervisory experience
- Experience in heavy manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable about a CMMS (desirable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
