A Forest Ranger position is available in Rockhampton, QLD. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will run until June 2025, with the potential for an extension. The pay rate is $47.94 per hour plus superannuation, with a work schedule of 36.25 hours per week.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to rural timber harvesting sites across southern Queensland.
• Conduct site inspections, sales planning, and field data collection.
• Compile inspection reports and monitor timber operations.
• Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and government representatives.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Manual Queensland C Class Driver’s License.
• Strong communication skills and tech proficiency (iPads, GPS, Microsoft 365).
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in remote environments.

Desirable:

• 4WD/ATV operation qualifications.
• Rural or agricultural technical experience.
• Relevant forestry or land management certifications.
